An energy recovery ventilator uses a heat exchanger to transfer thermal energy between incoming and exhaust air without directly mixing the airstreams. Direct counter-flow designs recover heat from outgoing air during suitable operating conditions, helping improve ventilation efficiency, indoor comfort, and building energy performance while maintaining the required outdoor-air exchange.

An ERV is a complete energy recovery ventilator system, such as a plug-and-play unit with fans, controls, filtration, and a heat exchanger. An ERM is an energy recovery module intended for integration with separate fans, filter boxes, or HVAC equipment. Selection depends on whether the project needs a complete ventilator or a modular recovery component.

The product range is intended for residential homes, multifamily buildings, small and large offices, light commercial spaces, industrial facilities, machine shops, schools and campuses, and high-performance building projects.
